i havn't really used any emulators for a long ass time, but you could try www.emux.com. i got a hella lot of them before from it. but they were also nes, i'm not sure if they have n64 or anything. maybe, since 64 for is out of date and gaycube is nintendos newest thing.

OK, i can [try to] help here. it depends on what emulator(s) you've downloaded. i'm guessing that one is probably UltraHLE or some variation of it...... look at it this way, anything that [is supposed to] run N64 roms uses the HLE engine.... it's how the N64 runs. the only problem is that the UltraHLE, ZHLE, whatever the hell the emu is called, only work using 3DFX (voodoo) cards. there are a few D3D and OpenGL emu's for the N64 and none of them that i've tried work. not even the HLE one's, cause i've not got a voodoo/3dfx card. you can get a 'glide wrapper' which is just an altered 'gl2x.dll' driver which means that voodoo games can run on non-3dfx computers. none of these that i've tried work either. and it's not because of a bad sys spec either, i had a P3 1Ghz 128Mb Ram, GeForce2 Pro. now it's a P4 1.6Ghz, 256Mb RAM, GeForce3 Ti200. still no luck. No, i'm not an emu nut, but after my bad experiences, i keep away from N64 emulators frankly because they mostly don't work... and those that do, don't do it very well. the only other problem that could be occuring is a damaged/corrupted rom file, but that doesn't usually happen, especially after a few hours of downloading. If you do have a Voodoo/3dfx card which won't be in very long now since 3dfx have sold out to NVidia, then you might be able to sort out your problems by fiddling around with the emu's preferences. If you have a different card, ie. a TNT/2/GeForce/2/3 then you'll have to download a glide wrapper. I just had a look around a few sites, these have a few glide wrappers: www.voodoofiles.com/type.asp?cat_id=14www.zophar.net/utilities/glidewrapper.htmlhope that helps. the latter site has a few N64 emulators on too www.zophar.net/n64.htmlhope that helps too. I'm not an expert, but i've screwed around with enough N64 emu's to know that most are a waste of time.... stick to the genesis/megadrive and SNES emulators instead lol but try the glide wrapper and see if you get better results than i did. or just screw around with the preferences if you have any more info, which would make my attempt at helping easier (ie. your system spec. etc) just add my email address to your msn list (if you have msn, that is) gutzrb@hotmail.com peace....
