I haven't really asked for advice on a damn messageboard before (well except for my joint injuries post which you guys were oh so helpful in  ). But I've already asked all my real life friends, and I just want to get as much input as possible. So I want some goddamned replies, ok? lol

In the next 2 days I have to make the biggest decision I've ever had to make. I have been struggling with this decision for a while now, and I canNOT make up my mind.
I'm not going to go into what the decision is (it's a boring story anyway, trust me lol), because it's something kinda personal I wouldn't post about (only my girl Angie gets to hear it ). But so how can you give me advice? Well I have a few questions about how you make decisions (or how you think people should make them):

1) When you have to decide something, how much of your decision do you let be based on fear? And I don't mean physical danger, because that isn't an issue here. I just mean being scared of what might happen. Do you think you should let fear play a part or be willing to take chances?

2)Do you listen to your friends opinions? My friends and family are split right down the middle on this decision- and I'm not sure who to listen to or if maybe I should say fuck them all and do what I want anyway. I don't usually ask for advice because I think I know everything lol, so now when I'm trying to get help, how do I know who to listen to?

3)Do you believe that stuff about you don't usually regret what you do, it's the things you don't do that you regret? Do any of you have experiences where you didn't do something and now you really regret it?  I don't want to have to live with regrets, that sucks my ass.

4)Where the fuck is Tink when you need her?  

Anyway, please help me out with what you do when you have to make a big decision, because none have ever been as hard as this one for me. Thanks guys ;D.

in this situation, i dont think u should let fear be something to consider. since u arent physically endangering urself..then i wouldnt let that affect ur decision. if u dont go thru wit it and i know u REALLY want to do this...ur gonna regret it. if not now, but later on in life. if u can do this...take the risk and do it, it might turn out in ur favor instead of the way ur afraid its gonna turn out. life is full of surprises sometimes.

i listen to my friends and family to a certain extent. i value their opinions and take them into consideration but they dont make the decisions for me...in the end i always end up doing what i want anyway...guess im stubborn like that. i would listen to what the people around u say but they cant make the decision for u...ur just gonna have to decide what u want the most. if ur willing to take the risk and this is what u REALLY want...go for it..fuck the rest ya know.

i kinda agree that what u DONT do..u usually regret..prolly cuz u dont know how things r gonna turn out til u do them. u can guess but that doesnt mean its gonna turn out that way. of course i regret things that i have done, but maybe the things i have done have made me the person that i am today. u cant grow from experiences if u dont experience them.

i know my advice sucks Michelle..esp when im tryin to not to let on about what this is all about. just make the best decision that u can. different circumstances require different ways of deciding and i tried to tell u how i would decide this situation. u will figure it out ..good luck. and write me back.

you know how much i hate gi´ving advice to you because of my age and shit, but since you called the rest of us non-replying people jerks, i better

before you decide what to do you have to think over the consequences, can you handle things NOT going your way ?! you have to be ready for dissapointment and the "succes"

i usually ask my friends for advice, though sometimes i feel like i only do it to hear what i want to hear (i do that ALOT), but still i always do what I feel is the right thing, you should never go by someone elses oppinion because it seems more fair, easy etc.

everyone has regrets, but just to sound like an old geezer in a rockin-chair "you learn from your mistakes" ive regret things i did AND didnt do, but sometimes you have to take a chance, and just because things doesent go your way, maybe at some point youll see that it was for the best... no pain, no gain.

Thanks for the advice guys. I made my decision. It's about something that is gonna kinda take some time, but whenever it's finally done I will let ya both know how it went.
