i seen your pictures in the picture forum before, you're not fat at all.. i used to tell this girl i went to school with she was fat and she got all paranoid and starved herself and shit, i thought she knew i was jokin cus she wasnt fat, but that made me realize how touchy girls are about their weight so it pisses me off when they talk about bein fat and wanting to lose it when theyre not, it'll cause more problems for you in the end than anything so dont worry about it, besides theres nothing to worry about cus you're far from bein fat and if anyone tells you different theyre just playin or just straight up assholes.

Britt..ur so full of shit...u arent fat. when people have an eating disorder, they dont see themselves as the really are...all they see is fat cuz there is something wrong wit ur brain. i was in the hospital for anorexia a couple of years ago...i eat and im recovering now, but i still see myself as fat..i think im so huge. doctors and therapists have told me that i prolly will never see myself as what everyone else sees me as. its confusing subject, believe me- i can remember thinking i was fat since i was about 4 years old.

brit, nothing is wrong with my brain, seriously. if you saw me in person, you would see what i'm talking about. ever notice how you only saw pictures of my face only?? i could whip out the measuring tape right now and prove to you its not in my head. my 17 year old sister is skinnier than me! i wish i was the typical petite little asian pinay.
and brit, omg i can't believe you had anorexia! i saw a couple of pictures of you and you are skinnnny! good luck with the recovering. 4 years old? damn..i was still concerned about my barbie's hair back then, hehe.lol wtf, i just noticed i wrote "illing" instead of "ill"..."am i going insane?!"

I dont think its very good to tell someone that thinks they are fat that they aren't. Its complimentary and all that, but it doesn't help their self image.
My advice: throw away your scale, and anything that can measure you or says what you SHOULD weigh. Those are all bullshit and can kiss my ass. So after you do that, look at what foods you eat the most of...whether its sweets, starches, whatever. Those are the foods that you're body is reacting to. So, instead of eating so much of those foods, replace it with a fruit or vegetable that you like. After you eat like 2 or 3 helpings of those, wait a little while and eat what you were giving up. Just a bite, or whatever it takes for you to feel like you just ate it. Nothing too drastic though, because once you tell yourself you can't have something, its all over. Ok and try and drink a glass of water before you eat. There are natural appetite suppressants if you eat a lot and need some help, but at your age I dont recommend them. Ok so now we need to discuss exercise. Do you build muscle quickly or do you have a lot of muscle now? I need to know what you're answer is before I go into the exercise deal.
The main thing is: say you wear a size 7. After about a month, go and try on a size 5. Now this is after a month of cutting down your intake of whatever food you eat the most of and exercising every day. If it still doesn't fit, or is still too tight then you need to increase your exercise or cut off more of the food. Try to not think about it in terms of loosing fat or weight, just try the pants thing. Obviously make sure its the same style and brand, because I can wear a few different sizes depending on what store I'm at. Anyways...I think to an extent you do need to worry about it at this age but probably not as much as you do.
I don't think everyone who worries about their weight develops an eating disorder. I don't think the 2 normally go hand in hand. But maybe thats just me.

brit... thanx for the advice. i need all the advice i can get, hehe. Do you build muscle quickly or do you have a lot of muscle now? I need to know what you're answer is before I go into the exercise deal. i already have like a buncha muscle. so i'm trying not to add anymore... i have been BEGGING my mom to register me (and her and my sister) at a gym. its hard exercising since 1) its getting REALLY cold out and 2) we have no exercise equipment or weights since my nephew burned them when he burned down the basement 3 years ago. the only area of my body i'm like obsessed with is my tummy...any advice on slimming it down??
on eating...i have been trying to cut back alot. lol i'm practically living on lunch/snacks that i eat after school.. gr i'm like obsessed with breads and stuff, so that could be the problem since i don't use most the energy from the carbos.
thanx bunches for the advice angie...i'm gonna try that.

Weight lifting is a bad idea if you havent finished growing (and at your age you havent). It can literally stunt your growth. I think you just need to focus on cardio stuff, like walking or running or stairmaster or something like that. And dont starve yourself. You need to eat at least 3 decent meals a day. If you want to tighten your stomach, just do situps- there are alot of different kinds you can do for like upper or lower abs, the sides, etc. And btw girl, not everyone was meant to wear a bikini. And that's ok- youre beautiful anyway. Dont get crazy about your weight, ok? When I think of all the time I have wasted obsessing about my weight and being unhappy with my body, it makes me so sad. If I could get back all that time and energy it would rule. I dont want that for you, so if you start getting obsessed and thinking about it all the time, or if you start having trouble liking yourself because of your body- that's how you know it's time to ask for help ok? Talk to your school counselor or one of the older girls here if the weight worries start becoming constant. Dont waste your life on that shit hon.
