I havent played the game in a long-ass time but I'm pretty sure there are only like 2 times that you HAVE to fight Nemesis. The other times you can run. I fought him but that's cuz I used to play all the REs over and over and had become good at them. But if you're having trouble and low on ammo, run. Ammo is kinda scarce in that game. Anways, good luck.
